What is Beaver Brook Pediatrics doing during the

Coronavirus Pandemic?

We are working hard to ensure that children receive their vaccines on time. As pediatricians, we feel it is important to ensure that there are no outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases while we are fighting coronavirus.  Here is what we are doing to ensure your safety during your child's appointment:

  • Only one healthy adult escorting each child, please.  No siblings or extra adults.

  • You will be asked COVID screening questions before your appointment

  • Everyone over 2 years of age must wear a mask.

  • Call when you arrive and stay in your car.  We will call your cell phone when we are ready to escort you directly into a freshly scrubbed exam room.  We are not having anyone wait in the waiting room.

  • We are working at a reduced schedule to limit the number of people in the office and to allow for proper cleaning between patients

  • Please note that we can NOT see any patients if they, or a household member, has been on an airplane or traveled to a restricted state within the past 14 days.  Check MA Travel Restrictions to see if this applies to you.

Our doctors are conducting telemedicine appointments for all of your medical questions and concerns.  We can keep up with your child's ongoing health issues or help you work though a new problem. Telehealth also enables us to do everything we can to keep you out of Urgent Cares and Emergency Rooms. You can schedule an appointment by calling the office. Learn more about telemedicine here.

Due to limited access to PPE, we are not currently able to see sick children at our office.  If your child is sick, please call us. A doctor can conduct a telemedicine appointment and help guide you as to the best course of care for your child.  We are working very hard to follow state public health guidelines and keep our patients and staff safe!
